Bald Peak and Two Rivers Ride - Open Ride

Come Ride With Us… Join in on a laid back ride of about 74 miles that will take us from central Portland, to Bald Peak Scenic View Point, and follow the shores of the Willamette and Tualatin Rivers before winding up our ride at the Lucky Lab Brew Pub on Hawthorne Blvd. This ride is targeted to have maximum speeds of 45 MPH, but maps will be provided so that those who choose to make a little faster run can do so.

There is a West Side meet up/pit stop at the Farmington Mall Shell Station, at the intersection Kinnaman and Farmington Road (17395 SE Farmington Rd). We will arrive there at about 12:45 PM to pick up any West side riders who choose not to come to Central Portland.

The ride is open to all scooters and motorcycles. Here is what you need to do to participate:

1. Watch the group riding video for tips on an enjoyable ride.

2. Review the hand signal sheet so that we can coordinate our ride.

3. Learn the route by studying the ride map.

4. Choose your meet up location:
11:00 AM at Holman’s restaurant (Ride depart Holmans at noon) or 12:45 PM at the Farmington Mall Shell station.

5. Do a safety check on your scooter and arrive at your meet up location with a full tank of gas (A gas station is at 21st and Burnside, just 7 blocks from Holmans). Here is a suggested Pre_Ride_check_list.pdf

6. Be at your bike with all gear on except your helmet 15 mins before departure for a ride briefing.

7. Plan on having fun!

I'm planning on meeting at the west side location if I can get off of my volunteer position in time.
