Attending:

Start of meeting 7:36 PM.
Agenda review and adoption was reviewed and adopted.
The meeting minutes from last meeting were accepted.
Membership
The club is up in paid members from 77 to 86. The membership officer is using the OSC web site to talk to members about renewal. 10 renewal letters have been sent out. The web site has a current count of 117 profiles. Steve has been getting a lot of feedback from members wanting to help the club. Milwaukie Vespa and Urban Upholstery both want to support RAID. Vespa Salem would like to sponsor a BBQ for OSC members at some point.
More effort in getting an OSC Salem chapter up and running is becoming important. OSC needs to get with some of our Salem members to get rides posted and events planned. Rick would like to meet with our Salem member base and help get things going.
Financial report
Last $2087.47
Income +$299.81
Debt -$193.95
Current $2193.33
Mixer
The mixer at the Green Dragon went very well. More members showed than the last mixer. Plus members from up and down the Willamette valley came. The Green Dragon was a great venue for the event. Julie is looking into another location and will set up mixer in the late spring.
Rides
We will be putting together rides for May and June. Talking about have a ride during Eugene’s TDCSC May rally for those who do not go to that. If members want to set up impromptu rides then they are encouraged to use the OSC web site forum.
Ride meet up locations
We are keeping an eye open for better meeting places for the Sunday rides other than Voodoo Doughnuts. Holman’s, Floyd’s coffee and Tiny’s coffee shop have been brought up as possible locations. We hope find something before the April ride.
OSC site mail all
The use of the OSC site’s mail all members function should only be used for OSC events only.
Tent Purchase
There has been an idea put forth of buying a large military style tent for events. Rick will set up a proposal to joint purchase the tent with the Kober event center. Kober would put up the first $300 and OSC would cover the rest. The idea as described by Rick would have the club picking up the rest of the cost after $300 and the tent would be stored at the Kober event center for later use. Officers should start looking for a seller of such tent.
Painted hills ride
The ride will close soon. The final camping cost estimates is $260 to $275. Steve will post more info on the OSC web site. The cap for riders has been set at 15. Steve will be posting a packing list on what and how to pack for a ride like this.
RAID
Officers need to get together a “to do” list for volunteers. A general meeting for RAID should be set up during April to start work on RAID and maybe take a ride out to the site. We need a flyer made up. Also we need to post a poll on the web site to try to get a theme together. Greg has volunteered for make Saturday dinner.
Freedom of speech of the site
People can state their opinion, but as officers, we must reinforce OSC policy.
Tech sessions
Still in the works.
Safety meeting
Try to get a safety meeting set up before the April ride. We need to give a safety handout to new riders and new ride leaders. Items like in town driving, staggered riding and hand signal need to be reinforced for safe riding. Ride leaders need to start carrying the first aid kit. Having safety vest available for ride leaders.
Misc items
Look into radio handsets for the ride leader and sweepers.
We need to find who has the OSC Banner.
