Impromptu Ride Report – February 19, 2010

A blast e-mail to all OSC Members one day before the ride captured 3 riders for this impromptu event. Two Burgaman 400s, ridden by Alan Loo and Rick Fletcher, and a T-Max guided by Dave Kenny launched on a 84.7 mile ride a sunny day with temperatures around 60 degrees.

No preset route was planed so the OSC crew headed out thru the foot hills behind Tigard and Sherwood, down to Newburg and up to Bald Peak for a brief stop and a photo that can be found on Alan Loo’s page.

From Bald Peak it was down the twisty Lauralwood grade and out to Hagg Lake for loop around the lake where we saw more 2 wheeled vehicles than caged drivers. After a refreshment brake at the Lake market we passed thru a farm land of Washington County and back into Tigard. The ride disbanded at about 5:20 PM.

OSC member are encourage to invite other members to their impromptu rides by posti9ng them on the OSC site.
