Oregon Scooter Club - Come Ride With Us !
On July 7, 2014 Ernie Goble was elected as the president of the Oregon Scooter Club. Ernie was nominated by David Kenney and his nomination was seconded by Abby Rollins. The ballots were counted by David Clayton.
Ernie has been a member of the OSC since 2012 and rides a Burgman 400. His past scooters include a BV 500, Aprilia 50 and a BSA 350 motorcycle when in college and before the BSA he rode a Honda 150 Dream. You can almost always find Ernie on an OSC ride. He recently completed the four day OSC Bear Camp Road Adventure Ride and next week he will be on the Steve Castel Memorial Ride to Victoria, BC, Canada.
Ernie resides in Southeast Portland with his wife Sandy. He and Sandy have one adult daughter. Ernie is a retired architect and avid outdoors-man having climbed Mt. Hood several times. In addition to being an OSC member, Ernie is also an active in the Portland Social Scooter Club and the Oregon City Motorcycle Riders Adventure Group.
