It was nearly a prefect day when 12 bikes rolled out from Holman’s restaurant heading for Bullwinkle’s. Our smallest bike was a Honda 90, followed by a Yamaha 125 and a vintage Honda 200. In keeping with our theme of a small displacement ride, speeds never exceeded 45 MPH. Check out he photo below of these three riders with their small displacement bikes.
After a trip down the shores of the Willamette, a loop around Lake Oswego and thru the open spaces of West Linn south of I – 205 we arrived at Bullwinkle’s Fun Center were riders were treated to ice cream on the club.
We then wound thru the country between Newburg and Sherwood until we landed at a pub in Tigard to end out ride. The total ride was 63 miles, about 2 hours and 40 minutes of riding with speeds under 45 MPH.
Join us on June 7, 2009 for another ride were there will be a special slower paced group completing the Hagg Lake ride. See the events tab for details.
