The weather looked threatening; but five scooters, the smallest of which was a 125, headed out from Vespa of Salem just as the clouds parted. With out a drop of rain the OSC Willamette Valley Chapter’s held its first official ride started racking up 85 miles of leisurely riding; with speeds that did not exceed 45 MPH.
Out heading out from Salem we followed the Willamette river down to Albany and into Bryant Park for a break. After a short cruse through historic downtown Albany we it the back roads on the east side of I-5, and into Aumsville where the ride disbanded.
