Since both of the riders were comfortable with freeway riding we changed the fist leg of the ride by dropping the in town portion of the ride and taking Highway 217 and 26 to the start of the fun part of the ride, highway 47. Half of the first leg was typical freeway riding, but once we hit the turn off to Veronica, the fun part of the ride started.
