Due to various members limitations and unavoidable scheduling conflicts, we've decided to cancel this club ride.  Breakfast will be as usual and who knows...an impromptu ride may break out! Lloyd's Loop will be scheduled at a later date.

The events page for the OSC March Valley Chapter Ride shows that the ride starts at 12 noon. This should read 11:00 am!!! 

The Valley Chapter Breakfast at the Sassy Onion runs from 9:30 am to 10:45 am, and the ride will start after a short pre-ride discussion. So the ride will start at 11:00 am, and with a rest stop, should be over by 1:30 pm.

I have some sad news to report. Abigail Rollins (also known as Abby), who is the President of the Valley Chapter, had her husband pass away yesterday. Pete had been present at several Valley Chapter meetings. He was dealing with some medical problems. It is unknown if there will be any public services at this time.

There is a new 50cc Scooter Club in town!  Check out the Portland Scooter Social Club. Their inaugural meeting is on January 13, 2013 at noon.

Brian Louther as authored a new ride and published a it in our Ride Library.  The ride is 64 miles and originates and ends in Salem.

In 2013 we will continue our focus on improving our monthly rides and developing members as ride leaders and Ride Sergeants.  To help us accomplish that goal I am appointing Steve Castle as a Road Captain.  With the addition of Steve the OSC will have two Road Captains, the other being Rick Fletcher.
