First Open Ride of 2009, the Sccot-n-Bowl

The snow, ice and hazardous road conditions cleared and Scoot-n-Bowlwas a great success. Under a bright sunny sky Trudi lead 17 participants on 15 scooters on a quick ride from Voodoo Doughnuts Too to the Kellogg Bowling Ally in Milwaukie where we played two games of bowling. Check out the photos for some action scenes.

Our February 2009 ride will be a Gymkhana (scooter obstacle skills course) held in a covered venue and organized by Jake. RSVP in the events section and join us fo… Continue

Hi, Rick--
Thanks for the welcome. I am mailing in my membership application. Just to let you know, I am co-owner with Rick Califf of "Pacific Scooters," a new store at 1133 SE 82nd in Portland. We sell Motobravo and Tank bikes, and we service ANY brand of scooter., so I'm trying to get the word out. Thanks-- Craig.

Hi Rick. It's Jymmi not Jimmi, and my check for membership cleared in my account last week so I assume that I'll receive a number, don't know if it's by e-mail or snail mail, and I certainly hope I don't get "banned" as I am not into clearing cookies and all that to get back into the site. I think this will be a good match for me but the events may have to wait until Spring. Thanks, Jymmi Sparkz

Rick,
Just wanted to say thanks for last weekend. I thoroughly enjoyed the ride and meeting you, your wife and all the other nice folks. I'm a "might attend" for the Swift resevoir ride. Would it be O.K. to ride my motorcycle?
Thanks again,
Larry

Rick,

This will be my first ride (tomorrow), with the OSC. Wondering if it is acceptable to wear shorts?

Thanks,
Larry

I have 7500 miles on the tire so it doesn't owe me anything. I will likely pull the rim off myself and take it somewhere for a new tire.

Either the local vespa (Harley) shop or the Honda dealer on Broadway. Both have been good to me.

Rick,

Got back to Salem okay on the plugged rear tire. Stayed with Arjen till we split around Stayton.

Thanks for the help.

Rick - My Helix fuel piump went out. They said it would take a week to look at the bike, then another week to get the part and fix it. So I may miss a couple rides. Al
