Well, if you have a few bucks you don't need you can always get a pair of Gerings heated gloves. My son and I both use them and they're great! Not only water resistant, but the heat feature is very, very nice. Just plug them into the accessory power…

Hi Alan, Thanks for posting. I have the hand guards, but wonder how you got the heated grips. Do you have to wire them in, or do they plug into the jack in the glove box? Harold (now member 252)

Oh yeah water gets into them when raining.

I've owned hippo hands before when I owned a Burgman 650, they didn't work all that well. On my Burgman 400 I found that hand guards and heated grips work well. Al

Hi again; Yes Rick Fletcher and I do our own service together at his house when needed. You don't have to take panels off to do oil change, just go in under the panel to do it. Im fine with big trucks just give them lots of room. If you have any ? just call me or Rick Fletcher hes the president of the Portland OSC. Our phone numbers are on this sight. Talk to you later.

Thanks for approving my membership. I found out about OSC from a woman at a Fred Meyer in Eugene. She was here for an event. Rode a vintage green (I think) scooter and had come down to Eugene from Portland. Thanks to that woman for mentioning OSC. I had a Yamaha C3 (50cc) and was limited to around town riding until August and then got the Burgman. Heard that there had been a Eugene division of OSC.
I see that there are some mid valley riders and hope to meet up with them.
My best,
Harold
