Hi -Thanks for the link on the chargers. I ordered a couple for my two scooters with good batteries. I have used fuel conditioners before in my riding lawn mowers and my weed wacker with good success. Be sure to run the engine a little bit so the ...

You can also pick up a battery float charger (keeps a charged battery charged) for $9.95 here. You can use seafoam or another fuel conditioner to keep fuel stabilized in freezing weather (cleans carb as well) I am going to make sure my antifreez...

I ride my scooters all year around. I won't ride in ice or snow though. This is my first year in OR so I'm learning a lot. My belief is that scooters run best when they are ridden. I try to ride my scooters every three days, rain or shine. I can't...

Dave, I plan on riding whenever possible during the fall/winter seasons. I do use a battery tender on my scoot. On one of the websites I read that just starting your scoot or running it for a short distance does not charge the battery much. The ...

I agree with Rick's comments (except I don't have 5 scooters!). I do have a battery tender wired to my bike battery, but I can let my '07 Burgie sit for several weeks at a time and it seems to be fine. I started it on it's center stand yesterday a...

I have 5 scooters and only one of them gets ridden in the winter. I start all of them up every other week and try to ride them 10 miles a month to help get rid of any moister in the system. I also keep the gas takes full to prevent condensation. ...

David-
I do not have a GPS on my bike. Melody Anderson has a SYM250 and I believe she has the mount on hers. Send her a message and see if she can help out!

David,

Welcome to OSC. And thanks for the friend invite.

I live in Lake Oswego. My wife and I will be heading out to this ride on Sunday. You're welcome to join us. I'd suggest we meet at our house or somewhere you know of in Lake O.

May I ask how many miles you have under your belt on your Sym?
Are you comfortable riding at 50MPH? We will be riding up Hwy 43 on the way to Holman's (the meeting point).
