I agree with Rick's comments (except I don't have 5 scooters!). I do have a battery tender wired to my bike battery, but I can let my '07 Burgie sit for several weeks at a time and it seems to be fine. I started it on it's center stand yesterday a...
I have 5 scooters and only one of them gets ridden in the winter. I start all of them up every other week and try to ride them 10 miles a month to help get rid of any moister in the system. I also keep the gas takes full to prevent condensation.

I live in Lake Oswego. My wife and I will be heading out to this ride on Sunday. You're welcome to join us. I'd suggest we meet at our house or somewhere you know of in Lake O.
May I ask how many miles you have under your belt on your Sym?
Are you comfortable riding at 50MPH? We will be riding up Hwy 43 on the way to Holman's (the meeting point).
