- Is anyone interested in an impromptu ride for tomorrow, Monday, Sept. 6, 2009?
If they are, Kathy and I are going to meet at the Dairy Queen on 25th and Mission St. We are going to leave at 11:00, and take some back roads around Turner, Aumsville, Stayton, Lyons, and gates. We will be scouting out a ride for later this month.
If you have plans for Labor Day, or this is too short of a notice, don't even worry about it. We came up with a plan at the last minute, and thought that if anyone else would like to come, that would be fine with us.
No need to reply, just meet at the Dairy Queen at 11:00 with gas tanks full. And hopefully the weather will be kind to us.
Happy Labor Day, and maybe we'll see you there!

Welcome to OSC. We have a lot of Bergmans in the club...in fact our club president rides one. Last I checked though there is only one other 650 exec. We have rides for every ability level. It looks like you are checking out the club with a fair bit of experience under your belt. You might want to join us for the Mt. St. Helens out and back ride next month.

I'm sorry you can't make it to the meet and greet, but we'll have others. We are trying to plan on meeting at least once a month, with rides more often. So we'll catch you at the next one.
And I know what you mean about Harley's - my husband has one. But he doesn't give me any s*** about my scooter. In fact, he is very supportive of me and my scooter. He's even gone on several rides with us.

Welcome to the Oregon Scooter Club.
We actually have a chapter in the Willamette Valley called Oregon Scooter Club Mid Willamette Valley Chapter. This is mostly for the riders in the Greater Salem Area. We just started up this chapter, and we've already had one ride, and have another scheduled the end of this month. We also have a get together at Boones Treasury the middle of the month.
You might take a look at the events calendar. All of our rides and get togethers will be posted along with OSC events. It would be great if you could make it to Boones Treasury so we could get to know you!!
As for me, I am the vice-president (by default). Our membership is small, but growing. We plan to have many more rides scheduled for the future.
I ride a SYM RV250. I started riding last September. And I love it. I love to ride on the country roads outside of Salem, like Jefferson, Marion, Aumsville, Stayton, etc...
Anyhow, safe riding, and I hope to meet you soon!
