Ready For 2012?

Winter is the time to get your scooter ready for next season.  I just got home from a trip to Beaverton Motorcycles and inventoried the parts and equipment locker and noted recent purchases.  Here is what I found:

 

-3 oil filters

 -3 sets of O-rings and pan gaskets for oil changes

-5 quarts of 10w – 40 oil

-1 spark plug

-1 new rear tire

-2 two front tires (one needs to be mounted now)

-1 back up air filter

-Replacement reflector for the missing left rear one on my scooter

-Enough cash in my riding jacket to buy fuel for over 1,000 miles

-Garmin Zumo maps updated as of today

-New (as of August) Cardo G-4 com system

-New Fulmer Helmet

 

Looking forward to logging 10,000 miles in 2012!

 

Soon I will be posting a Tech session where you can learn how to change the oil in your scooter and do an effective pre and post ride checks.

Good post. 'Tech Sessions' a great idea, maybe even expand in time to include simple mods like adding heated grips, lights or a better horn.
