Oregon Scooter Club -Come Ride With Us

My fairly new Buddy Italia won't start. Okay - I left the key in the ignition in "on" position (newbie mistake) and the battery is dead. The electric starter doesn't work and I haven't apparently gotten the right "touch" on the kickstarter. Many unsuccessful attempts.

Tonight - I'm ready for another round of kickstarting. Any special kickstarting nuances I should know about on the Buddies?

Al - Some engines (I don't know about scooters) won't start unless there is enough power to set up a field for the alternator. You may need to jump start your scooter if the battery is completely dead. RF

I just got a small charger, and the battery was about 80% this morning. This afternoon - we'll see.

Thanks for the offer!

UP!

A charged battery did the trick.

Now, if the weather would cooperate.
