True Apostles 25th Annual Toy Run to Benefit the Salvation Army

Hello All

I will be leading a ride into Vancouver,Wa to the Columbia Harley-Davidson Dealer for a toy run for the Salvation Army.

This is a Rain or Shine ride.

Ride leaves Voodoo Doughnut Too at 930am

Once we are at the Harley dealer there is a $5.00 sign up fee (100% of the fee goes to the Salvation Army for the kids). They may require us to sign one of there waivers. There will be free coffee and Pastrys. And a Door Prize 50/50 Drawing. You will also need 1 unwrapped toy. The ride from the Harley dealer will leave at 11am and we will be escourted to the Vancouver Salvation Army were we will drop off the toys. Escorted means That we DON"T Stop at stop signs or stop lights. They will be blocked so we can go right throught them.

Once we have dropped off the toys I will lead us back to the Voodoo Doughnut Too at 1501 NE Davis St, Portland,Oregon

This ride is open to all ages and to OSC members and non-members alike, although we encourage you to join our club so that you can participate in all the club's events. Riders of all makes and models of scooters (motorcycles too!) are welcome to join us, but please be aware that this route will include short segments on I-5 to get us across the Columbia River, so please exercise judgment if your scooter has a smaller engine.


Non-members riding with us for the first time will be asked to sign a waiver. See ride coordinators for details (no fees).... Please perform a safety check on your scooter Saturday morning and arrive with a full tank of fuel.

Dave - Thanks for posting this. Chrisite and I go to the coast on the Friday after Thanksgiving every year to celebrate our enguagement, so I won't be able to make it, but I will provide a toy for you to drop off on our behalf. Rick and Christie
