Vernonia Ride, from FB post:

As usual, when it's been raining, I take advantage of the first rare dry day to take a scooter ride! Went out on a sunny day with five members of the Oregon Scooter club on three Burgman 400's, a Majesty 400, MP3 500 and one Aprilia 500. Big scooters so we obviously tore up the road. . Met at the Overlook restaurant parking lot and then though St Johns to Hwy 30 to Scappoose. Then along the Scappoose-Vernonia Hwy to coffee at the Black Bear Coffeeshop in Vernonia. Great coffeeshop! Then out Hwy 47 to Apiary Road, going past Camp Wilkerson campground/county park back to Hwy 30. At that point, since we were behind schedule, most riders went directly home on their own routes. I decided to follow the planned last leg, since it was on my way, which was up the very twisty Point Rock Road to Skyline, and then back to town. Almost no traffic on Skyline. We had planned on stopping at the Skyline Tavern, but it's just as well we didn't, for the parking lot was overflowing. Getting a seat would have been a problem. Finally, made it through the Portland five o'clock rush hour to Great Wine Buys for a wine tasting with the gang. A good ride on a sunny, beautiful day. And a great wine tasting as well, southern Rhone wines.

It's great to hear that your back in the saddle again Rick.  I also spent time recently in the ER and it turned out to only be a med. problem.  Tomorrow sounds like a great day to ride and I'll be riding my Spyder to Longview Procaliber to get a soft ware up date and a change of parts to stop the idle-stalling issue that I've been having.  I hope every one else also has a great ride tomorrow.  Really great to hear that your back leading the group Rick.

Yes, Those pesky workdays.  Fortunately, I only have 14 of them left and this ride is on a vacation day.
