Portland Ride to the Valley Chapter’s McKenzie Highway Ride

Come Ride With Us… Link up with other Portland riders as we head to Salem to meet up with the Valley Chapter for their all day ride. For details, see the event on this day.

Kick Stands up at 9:30 AM. At the meet up riders will deicide if the group will take the back roads or the freeway. The default is the back roads route.

This is an all day ride: Carry drinking water and snacks.

The ride is open to all scooters and motorcycles. Here is what you need to do to participate:

1. Watch the group riding video for tips on an enjoyable ride.

2. Review the hand signal sheet so that we can coordinate our ride.

3. Do a safety check on your scooter and arrive at your meet up location with a full tank of gas (There is a gas station next door to Gators). Here is a suggested Pre_Ride_check_list.pdf<

4. Be at your bike with all gear on except your helmet 15 mins before departure for a ride briefing.

5. Plan on having fun!

Scott - We need to have kickstands up promtly at 0930 to make it to Salem for the meet up at 1030. Arrive in Tigard any time before 930, but please be ready to RIDE at 930.

It is an all day ride, but I would guess we will be back to Portland at 1830. 2230 was was just a place holder until we filled our plans.

Just to verify... the Portland group is meeting in Tigard at 0900 to then ride to a meet up with the Salem group?

Anyone from Vancouver want to ride down? I'm in NE Vancouver and google maps says I'm 36min from the meet up in Tigard. Guess I'll leave between 0815 and 0830...
