DESCRIPTION:This ride is canceled.\n\nNotes for the Alsea Valley ride 
 on the 15th of September\nAll roads are passable. There was some quest
 ion regarding the South Fork road as there was quite a lot of slippage
  last winter. Remember to bring a lunch no food is available past Alse
 a. If you need to purchase something for the lunch break at Alsea Fall
 s do so in Philomath at the gas stop. The road is a bit rough coming u
 p out of Lobster Valley and over the ridge but it is passable. Do watc
 h for rocks in the road there are active slides on the road going over
  the ridge.  The South Fork road is uneven, kind of washboard like eve
 n though it is paved, so take it easy. Also watch for the areas of sli
 ppage, they have been recently repaired but are a little uneven in pla
