SUMMARY:Alsea Interior Valleys
DESCRIPTION:Ride with the Valley Chapter for a fun and relaxing ride t
 hrough the scenic interior valleys of Benton county.\n \nSo far the w
 eather looks promising for this ride with temperatures in the mid 70s 
 and partial cloudy skys.  Hopefully it will stay that way. \n \nThe
  Salem group will leave The Big K parking lot at Mission and 25th at 9
 :00 so lets plan on meeting at 8:30.  The plan will be to leave Salem
  and travel to Philomouth via the Kings Valley Hwy.  We will top off 
 our fuel tanks there then head out toward Alsea, this will be the last
  reliable fuel stop until we get back to the Willamette Valley near Mo
 nroe an approximate distance of 80 miles.  Any central or southern va
 lley riders may want to meet up with us at the Chevron on 14th and Mai
 n. \n \nWe will choose a lunch stop along the way. Amenities are lim
 ited to nonexistent along the way but we will stop at the Missouri Ben
 d and the Alsea Falls recreation area.  The planned ride will end at

 de is planned on being more leisurely, however riders should be able t
 o handle highway speeds as Hwy 34 can have a brisk pace.  For those r
 ides who enjoy a more aggressive pace, we will be traversing some exce
